The Carry the Load Sun Valley Rally is a wonderful opportunity to bring the Wood River Valley together to recognize the ultimate sacrifices made by military. Bring your family and friends to join in on the honor march, lunch wagons, live music, activities, and honor wall tribute, reminding our community, and teaching our youth what Memorial Day is all about!

HGLA hosts Day Programs which incorporate all aspects of the Higher Ground model and are designed as one single day of a week-long camp. This particular Day Program will be hosted with a group of male veterans from US Vets in Inglewood and will focus on developing recreational skill sets in bowling and incorporating recreation into each veteran’s life to enhance quali
Higher Ground Sun Valley and the local Trout Unlimited Hemingway Chapter have collaborated their efforts and aligned missions to create a partnership that serves local veterans with disabilities through therapeutic fly fishing in the Wood River Valley. This program is open to all active duty and veterans of the US Armed Forces with disabilities living in and around Blaine County.
One session consists of four 1 hour casting clinics taught by casting instructors and led by FFI Master Caster, Mark Milkovich. The goal is to create more effective casting to increase your effectiveness on the river. Individuals who would like more of a challenge can prepare for the Project Healing Waters casting competition with a possibility of competing at the National Competition in Boise this August.
Intermediate/Competition Training: 5:30-6:30 pm
Beginner Group Training: 6:30-7:30 pm
