This exciting summer-long program is specifically designed for local participants ages 12 and older with a permanent disability, offering a fantastic opportunity to develop and refine essential skills in a supportive, social environment. Held every Thursday from 5:00pm to 6:30pm, the program focuses on teaching the fundamentals of bocce ball, a fun and accessible sport that emphasizes hand-eye coordination, team dynamics, and strategic thinking. Throughout the course of the program, participants will improve their ability to work as part of a team, sharpen their decision-making skills, and enhance their overall coordination—all while enjoying the camaraderie of fellow athletes and participants.

The program is structured to meet the needs of participants at any skill level, whether you’re new to bocce ball or looking to improve your game. Each session will provide valuable practice and instruction, allowing participants to build confidence and develop the skills necessary to compete in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. As part of the program, participants will have the opportunity to showcase their newly developed skills in a family-friendly bocce ball tournament, which will take place during the first weekend of October.
