The Salmon river is located in the heart of the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness in central Idaho. This program lets you unplug and enjoy the beauty of nature.
- Who: 8 male or female First Responder and their spouse/significant other
- When: September 2 – 7, 2025
- What: A week of recreational therapy activities for both you and your spouse/significant other, focused on rafting/kayaking
- Where: Main Salmon River, Idaho
- Accommodations: riverside tent camping
- Accessibility: Mixed terrain including sand and rocks at camp beaches. This program does not accommodate CPAPs.
- Cost: FREE – Higher Ground Covers ALL program related costs
